Cassarole carrier and Quilted tote bag

Good afternoon everyone!

Today I have a post for you about a couple of things that I got a chance to sew on my last vacation. I made a Quilted tote bag with zipper with the help of Jenny Doan from Missouri Star quilt company  . She has some great youtube  tutorials on how to quilt the easy way that even rookies like me can understand. Lol   I also followed another video on how to add a zipper Jean the jelly roll queen.   Then I couldn't stop there so I also made a quilted casserole carrier that is insulated with insul bright and batting to keep the food warm or cold. The casserole carrier is by Melanie Ham she also has some great youtube sewing tutorials.  Thanks for stopping by! Have a Blessed day! Angie

  1. Angie these are fabulous! Love the colors too. I have a couple of quilted casserole carriers, but not that style. I love them and have used them so much they really need to be replaced. These are great!

  2. Oh these are wonderful, Angie! I can't sew or quilt so I am always so impressed with others that can. They are all so pretty and functional. I bet you'll get a lot of use out them. Your casserole carrier would make a nice home warming gift in itself, but with a delicious casserole tucked inside it would be so thoughtful and YUMMY! TFS!!!

  3. Wow, those are awesome. You make me want to drag out my sewing machine. I was really into making purses awhile back, made a ton of them. LOVE the casserole carrier, what a handy thing to have! Thanks so much for sharing.
