Flip it release challenge take II

Well the snow is coming starting at 7 pm! It was a very busy day at work, well too busy, but I'm off the next two day's! Thank God! I managed the other day to make another card for Flourishes December release challenge! For this card I went CAS. Stamped the flower image from Flourishes beautiful stamp set Humming Along in lady bug memento ink, then I stamped the hummingbird in memento black ink and colored it with my copic markers and used my circle spellbinders die to cut out the image and made a banner for the sentiment ! Had to color my humming bird the same color like the Ruby Throated hummingbirds that we have here in Michigan! Easy peasy! Nothing too complicated! That's all for today! Thanks for stopping by! December release Flip it sketch challenge

Good evening everyone! Here with a Flip it sketch December release challenge over at Flourishes. For this card I stamped Flourishes gorgeous dahlia flowers stamp set onto the ribbon Threader spellbinders die. Colored the image with my copic markers and used clear embossing powder and some glitter for some shine. Threaded some green ribbon, poped up the sentiment with some 3-dots and also added a ribbon tab to finish of the card. Donna wasn't the only one that had a little problem with this sketch. This is what I did I placed my cardstock where I wanted it then I traced it with a pencil on the back, then I cut it thru my paper cutter, then I forgot how it went back on the card, but I got it figured out. Well we got a little bit of dusting of that white stuff. I love it how people start panicking over a little bit of snow they come in shopping for groceries as if they will be buried in the house for months lol. They are reporting right now 3 to 5 inches for Saturday glad I'm off yay.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a Blessed evening everyone!

How to make felt flower pointsettias

After you cut all your strips to the size needed take your rectangular felt folded in half the long way cut the top corner off I try to curve it a little so it's not so strait. I found the instructions on Pinterest . Here's some pictures to help you out.
This is what it looks like after you cut off the top corner . You do not need the pin I just used it to hold it closed for the picture.
This what it looks like after you cut off he top and lower corners
After I cut out one leaf from the large rectangle and one leaf from the medium size I made a template out of chipboard or you could use some heavy card stock too. I use the template to cut the rest of my leaves for the poinsettia or you could fold the FELT in half and cut the top and bottom off but your poor finger will hurt and they will thank you later. Lol
This is what they look like when your done . Thanks for stopping by Angie

November release challenge

I'm back again with another card for Flourishes release challenge! For this card I fussy cut the bloom only that comes with the gorgeous chrysanthemum stamp set to make my wreath and added a few leaves also ! It took me about an hour to cut them and color them with my copics! I don't think that there are any teal chrysanthemums out there, but when it comes to card making I guess we can color them any color that we want! Ran my teal cardstock thru my embossing folder and cut the window with my Grand Madison window die and added a bow to finish of the card! What is more inviting when you go over someone's house and they have a beautiful wreath on the front door it's like saying come on in "Welcome"!
